The 18-year old son of Moshe Feiglin, who heads the Likud-based Jewish Leadership Movement, was seriously injured Monday in a car crash near the Jewish settlement of Alfei Menashe.
Three other people who were in the car with Feiglin's son, David Yosef, were also injured when the vehicle hit another car on Route 55.
Feiglin was seated next to the driver, his friend Daniel Shlomo, when the crash occurred and remained trapped in the car. Shlomo, a firefighter volunteer, extricated himself and called the paramedics.
An ambulance was immediately dispatched to the scene and evacuated Feiglin to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikvah, while the other wounded were taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that one of the vehicles involved in the accident crashed into a guardrail, and another vehicle that was unable to stop in time crashed into the first one.
