Seven mortar shells exploded in the Negev Monday, in the Eshkol Regional Council. No injuries or damage have been reported so far.
Recently terror organizations have been increasing fire on Israel from Gaza, with four mortar shells fired on Sunday night exploding south of Ashkelon.
Two of the shells fell in open spaces in Eshkol Regional Council and the other two in open spaces in Hof Ashkelon Regional Council.
Overnight Saturday the Air Force bombed a terror cell firing rockets at Israel from central Gaza, and Palestinian sources reported that all five were killed. The gunmen apparently belonged to Islamic Jihad and the Popular Resistance Committees.
