The additional flight will be operated on Mondays starting October 30, 2011. From mid December, the Tuesday flight will change to Wednesdays and easyJet will fly on the Tel Aviv-Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg route on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The new flight will increase seat availability from 17,000 in winter 2010 to over 29,000 in winter 2011 on the Tel Aviv to Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg route.
In total, easyJet will have over 110,000 seats operating from Israel this winter with fares starting at €38.99 (about $55) one way including taxes on the Tel Aviv-London, Tel Aviv-Geneva and Tel Aviv-Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg routes.
"We are delighted to be able to respond to customer demand for great value fares by being able to offer more departures on our popular Tel Aviv-Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg route," said EasyJet’s Commercial Manager for Israel Hugh Aitken.
"Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport is strategically located at the cross borders of Switzerland, Germany and France, which makes it an ideal location for both leisure and business travelers."
