The American television network NBC unveiled last week its new game show "Who's Still Standing?" based on the Israeli
Channel 10 format of a successful fast-paced trivia game show.
NBC recently began shooting the series with comedian and Emmy Award winning host Ben Bailey, and the first episode is scheduled to air in August.
"I am really psyched to be hosting this new show… it's totally unlike any other show," said Bailey. "It's got great trivia, it's got big money prizes, and it's got real action... I am really excited and I can't wait for people to see it."
The series will offer a single contestant the chance to win a cash prize of up to $1,000,000 by taking down each of their opponents in fast-paced trivia battles. This show combines the fun of a trivia competition with physical comedy, by dropping contestants through trapped doors if they answer a question incorrectly.
The formant, which was developed by July August Productions, was sold to NBC by Armoza International Media, a production, distribution and financing company owned by Avi Armoza.
