B'Tselem: 834 Palestinian minors convicted of hurling stones
The B'Tselem organization has issued a report on the arrest of Palestinian teens by the IDF and their prosecution for hurling stones. The data suggest that indictments were filed against 835 boys and teens between 2005 and 2010, with only one acquitted. According to the report, 93% of those convicted were sentenced to prison terms.
B'Tselem said that among those were 19 children aged 12-13 who served time in prison ranging from several days to two months. (Yair Altman)
