El Al introduces 1st class to Hong Kong
New class operated on Thursday, Saturday flights, in which many passengers are businesspeople
El Al Airlines has begun operating a first class in its flights to Hong Kong.
So far, the Tel Aviv-Hong Kong route included only two classes: Economy and business. Although the plan flying to Hong Kong had a first class, it wasn't active and its passengers received business class service.
In a statement issued to travel agents, the company noted that the first class would be operated on flights leaving Tel Aviv on Saturday evenings and on flights leaving Hong Kong on Thursdays – in which many of the passengers are businesspeople.
In the rest of the flights on the Tel Aviv-Hong Kong route, the company still operate only two classes.
