Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may not be pleased with the US' cold shoulder regarding a possible strike against Iran's nuclear facilities, but he seems to be garnering support within the Likud.
According to a Monday report in Yedioth Ahronoth, nine Likud Knesset members have signed a letter promising him their unwavering support should he decide to mount a preemptive strike against the Islamic Republic.

The letter was signed by deputy ministers Gila Gamliel, Lea Nass and Ayoob Kara, faction chairman Ze'ev Elkin and Knesset members Yariv Levin, Carmel Shama, Tzipi Hotovely, Miri Regev and Ofir Akunis.
MK Hotovely was the driving force behind the letter, which read: "We have complete faith in the way any decision on Iran will be made and we are sure it will be made responsibly and with a clear view of Israel's vital interests.
"In this time, when political forces are waging a campaign meant to shake your confidence, we think it is only right to express our unwavering support in your judgment," the letter said.
Still, the letter was not signed by any of the Likud ministers.
"We should express our opinions in the cabinet, not publically," one of them told Yedioth Ahronoth.
