Al-Qaeda: Benghazi attack revenge on the death of Al-Qaeda No.2
The attack against the US consulate in Benghazi, in eastern Libya, was executed to "avenge" the death of Al-Qaeda No.2, Abu Yahya al-Libi, said the Yemeni branch of the extremist network, as reported on Saturday by the US central monitoring Islamist website SITE.
Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) has also asked Muslims to continue protests against Islamophobic film produced and directed in the United States, calling on them to take the US embassies in the Middle East and Africa and in the West. (AFP)
