Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin held a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Thursday. According to Lavrov, Russian estimations predict Iran has no intention to mount a nuclear attack on Israel. During the meeting, Rivlin said that Russia is the only country capable of stopping the Iranian nuclear program without forcing sanctions.
"So far, there is no decisive proof of Iran developing a nuclear weapon. Due to Israel's demographics, including millions of Arabs and Muslims, the Islamic Republic will not attack Israel," Lavrov told the Knesset speaker. (Moran Azulay)
