Jon Feder steps down as Ynet's editor-in-chief
After 12 years as editor-in-chief, Feder to be appointed editor of Yedioth Ahronoth's internet division. His deputy, Eran Tiefenbrunn, will replace him
Ynet's long-time editor-in-chief Jon Feder will step down in June in order to take on the position of editor of Yedioth Ahronoth's internet division.
Feder was one of Ynet's founding members and was appointed editor-in-chief several months after the site's launch in 1999.
He will be replaced by Eran Tiefenbrunn, who served as his deputy for the past four years.
Tiefenbrunn has been with the Yedioth Ahronoth group for 19 years and before joining Ynet acted as head of the newspaper's news division. He also previously served as Yedioth's correspondent in Berlin.
The new round of appointments will see Hadas Lahav, 38, deputy editor at Yedioth, replacing Tiefenbrunn as Ynet's deputy editor-in-chief, and Amnon Meranda, 30, Ynet's current head of news desk, appointed deputy editor.
