While the world is preoccupied with a possible Western strike in Syria, Palestinian terrorists continue to target IDF forces in the Gaza Strip.
A powerful bomb exploded near an IDF patrol on the border fence, near Nahal Oz on Monday. No injuries or damage were reported.

IDF forces canvassed the area for additional explosives. An IDF bulldozer engaged in operational activity near the border fence exposed the device.
A similar occurrence was noted last Friday when a bomb went off near soldiers patrolling the border fence. No injuries or damage were reported. It is unclear whether the two incidents are connected.
The devices were not detonated by remote control. The force later resumed its activity to uncover devices buried in the ground. This activity is performed several times a month.
Members of the defense establishment noted that despite the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East and chaos in Sinai, Hamas still enforces agreements reached in the Pillar of Defense ceasefire and thwarts terror attacks by rival groups.
Some two weeks ago, a rocket fired by the Islamic Jihad from the Gaza Strip was found in the Western Negev after Color Red sirens sounded in Sderot and Shaar Hanegev. There were no injuries.
The IDF retaliated by bombing rocket launchers in the northern Gaza Strip.
