Israeli actress Alona Tal is joining a new US television production directed by Marc Forster, who was in charge of "World War Z"
and James Bond film "Quantum of Solace."
The Amazon Studios' pilot for the new series, called "Hand of God," will begin shooting soon.
The plot centers on a powerful Judge portrayed by Ron Perlman ("Sons of Anarchy," "Hellboy"). Tal, according to the Deadline Hollywood website, will play his daughter-in-law. If the pilot is approved, she is set as a series regular.
This isn't 30-year-old Tal's first significant Hollywood role. She also starred in the film "Broken City," alongside Mark Wahlberg (which received unfavorable reviews), and in TV series "Burn Notice" and "Supernatural."
Last year, she landed a role in TV series "Cult," which was canceled in the middle of its first season.
