Air Europa. From charter flights to regular flights

Spanish airline Air Europa will begin operating regular flights on the Madrid-Tel Aviv route, and will be competing against El Al Israel Airlines and mainly Iberia, which also offers connecting flights to Latin America.
The Spanish company currently operates charter flights from Tel Aviv to Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca and occasionally to Madrid, according to demand. It is now launching a regular route to the Spanish capital with three weekly flights – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The flights from Tel Aviv will depart at 4:10 pm, and the flights from Madrid will leave at 8:40 am.
Air Europa offers flights to New York, Miami, Mexico City, Montevideo, Lima, Havana, Cancun, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Santo Domingo, Salvador de Bahia and other destinations.

Gideon Thaler, CEO of the Tal Aviation Group which represents Air Europa in Israel, said that the time of departure from Tel Aviv was scheduled to allow passengers to arrive in Madrid in time for the company's connecting flights to South America. The timetable from Madrid to Tel Aviv was also adjusted to cater for passengers arriving from South America on their way to Israel.
Tickets will be offered for €400 per flight.
Meanwhile, British Airways has announced its plan to add six weekly flights on the Tel Aviv-London route in the summer of 2015, increasing its seat supply by 50%.
According to Israel country manager, Yael Katan, the company has also made changes to its timetable in order to offer Israelis convenient connecting flights to 20 destinations in North America.
