The famous TEDx conference will be coming to Tel Aviv University on Monday, February 15, featuring speakers from a variety of fields who will all be sharing inspiring and groundbreaking stories.
TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading," and supports independent organizers creating TEDx events in their community.

Actor Chaim Topol, who turns 80 this year, is preparing a talk about his life away from the spotlight. Former education minister Shai Piron, who recently left politics so he could return to his work as an educator, will speak about the Israeli education system in a talk that promises to shake your perceptions and challenge the consensus.
Conductor Roni Porat will provide some magic with his special touch, bringing with him a full orchestra on stage - a first for TEDx conferences.

Other speakers include Dr. Tzipi Strauss, Chief of Neontology at Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer; CERN particle physicist Prof. Eilam Gross, who led the team that discovered the Higgs Boson particle, also known as "The God Particle"; journalist and writer Caroline Glick, and many more.
The 18-minutes long talks will be presented in English at Tel Aviv University's Smolarz Auditorium.
