Ahead of the upcoming premier of Wonder Woman, Israeli model/actress Gal Gadot appears on Good Morning America, speaking of the love for strong female characters, the desire to retire just before she got the role and the difficulty of playing a superhero while pregnant.
Israeli model/actress Gal Gadot was hosted on ABC's Good Morning America ahead of the Wonder Woman premiere. She spoke of her desire to retire just before taking up the role, the importance of a having strong female role models and the pregnancy during filming—an experience that she described as more difficult than serving in the IDF. Her daughter also made a cameo during the interview.
The movie, which was directed by Patty Jenkins follows Diana Prince from her childhood as an Amazon princess on the island of Themyscira, through her love for American soldier Steve Trevor (played by Chris Pine) up until she joins the war against the forces of evil in World War I.
Also starring are Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, Lucy Davis, Elena Anaya, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner and Said Taghmaoui. The film premiers in Israel on June 1.
