Roi Efrati, 39, from Bnei Brak was charged on Monday with extortion and intimidation after he threatened prominent figures in the Reform movement.
According to the indictment, Efrati threatened Prof. Yaakov Malkin, provost at the International Institute for Humanistic Secular Judaism, and Anat Hoffman, the executive director of Women of the Wall.
He also sprayed threatening graffiti on a Reform synagogue in Ra'anana and planned to harm activists of the Breaking the Silence NGO.
