French Consulate in Haifa receives suspicious envelope, staff complain of burning eyes
A suspicious envelope was received at the French Consulate in Haifa on Monday.
The envelope, which was sent from France, contained teabags and goji berry seed.
Later, consulate staff complained of burning eyes, leading to suspicions the source of the burning was in the envelope.
The consulate area was closed off while the Fire Department was on the scene to examine the envelope.
