Lebanese president: I won't prevent Hezbollah from having weapons
Lebanese President Michel Aoun has said he "cannot prevent Hezbollah from having weapons as long as Israel continues violating international decisions."
Speaking in an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro published on Saturday, Aoun said, "The Israeli entity still occupies 30km of our territory and refuses to respect the right of return of the Palestinians who came to Lebanon during the war in 1948."
He went on to say it was "unacceptable Israel will have the right to start a war in a moment, while others don't have the right to keep their arms and defend themselves."
