Bid to close Holot detention facility suggests either deporting or jailing infiltrators
Minister of the Interior Aryeh Deri and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan will present an executive vote at next week's cabinet meeting for a gradual closure of the Holot detention facility within several months' time.
Moving to close the facility, however, will only be done if the agreement to remove the illegal aliens to third African countries initiates as planned.
After the closure, the only options available to migrants will be deportation or jail.
