Jordan: 'We will continue to act in accordance with interests of Palestinians.'
Foreign ministers of the Arab League gathered Saturday to discuss the American recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman al-safadi declared that the forum "Rejects the American recognition. We refuse any step that alters the historical and legal status of the city.
Al-Safadi added "There will be no security in the region without the establishment of a Palestinian state. All our decisions will be made in accordance with the interests of the Palestinians."
