Five ultra-Orthodox men were arrested Tuesday during a violent protest in Jerusalem against plans to perform an autopsy on a baby who drowned in a Jacuzzi.
Several hundred extremist Haredim protested at Kikar HaShabbat, blocking the junction to traffic for an hour.

The parents of the baby were arrested on Tuesday. The father's remand was extended by six days, while the mother will remain in custody for five more days.

The mother, who is suspected of committing a criminal offense, claimed she went into the Jacuzzi with the baby and he slipped from her hands and swallowed water. The baby's father was asleep at the time.
