Steinitz: Assad will pay the price if Israel is attacked from Syria

Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources Yuval Steinitz told Ynet on Monday that "if (Syrian President Bashar) Assad allows Iranian or any other element to declare war on Israel from Syrian territory, he will bear the consequences.

"He is endangering his regime and his own existence," Steinitz added.
