Report: Murdered Hamas engineer's body to be returned to Gaza
Palestinian envoy to Malaysia says body of Fadi Albatsh, who was assassinated in Kuala Lumpur over the weekend, will return to Hamas-ruled enclave via Egypt, despite Defense Minister Lieberman's appeals to Cairo not to allow passage through its territory.
The Palestinian envoy in Malaysia says the body of a Hamas militant killed last week
in Kuala Lumpur will be repatriated to the Gaza Strip for burial.
Fadi Albatsh, an electrical engineering lecturer at a Malaysian university, was gunned down by two men on a motorcycle as he was on his way to a mosque early Saturday.
Anwar al-Agha said Tuesday that Egypt agreed to allow the body to be returned through its border with Gaza.
Israel's Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman had appealed to Egypt to refuse the Palestinian request. The body is expected to arrive in Gaza on Thursday.

Hamas, a militant terror group sworn to Israel's destruction, described Albatsh as a "commander" in its military wing and accused Israel of assassinating him. Israel has not commented.
On Tuesday, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah also blamed Israel for the mysterious assassination, slamming it as a “Zionist crime.”
"We must condemn this Israeli assassination of a Palestinian-Arab scientist and the martyr Fadi al-Batsh,” Nasrallah said during a speech delivered at an event organized by the Hezbollah terror group ahead of the Lebanese parliamentary elections next month.
