Bus driver stabbed in head, critically wounded in Afula

A bus driver on a route in Afula was stabbed in his upper body and head by two youths he described as 'ethnic minorities.'

The attack caused him to lose control of the bus and hit a nearby private vehicle, a water pipe and a wall.

His attackers then fled the scene, and are being sought by the police.

The driver, a resident of the city around 60 years old, was evacuated to Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa in critical condition. Two passengers from the impacted vehicle were also evacuated in light condition.
