Report: Russians end US de-escalation pact, making way for Moscow to join fighting in south Syria
Arab media outlets reported on Tuesday afternoon that Russia has announced an end to an agreement aimed at reducing escalations in southern Syria which was signed with the US last year.
According to the reports, which have yet to be officially confirmed by Russia, the announcement paves the way for Moscow to join the military conflict near the southwestern city of Daraa where the Syrian army recently intensified its efforts against the rebels.
