Lieberman in Southern Command: 'We need to be ready for every scenario'

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman held a meeting with the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot, the Commander of the Southern Command, the Southern Command Headquarters, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, and the Shin Bet.

The purpose of the meeting was to assess the situation in the Southern Command. Lieberman emphasized the importance of preparing the army for any event along the Gaza border, especially in light of recent developments in the Gaza Strip.
