Gabbay suspends MK Eitan Broshi

Zionist Union Chairman Avi Gabbay suspended Sunday Knesset member Eitan Broshi (Zionist Union) following a complained made by a woman saying he had sexually harassed her 15 years ago.

This incident was revealed after Broshi had recently touched MK Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin's behind during a field trip the party was on.

"I've spoken to Broshi and told him he is suspended effective immediately from the party. I've also demanded him to assume responsibility for his shameful actions and retire from the Knesset. Sex offenders have neither place in the street nor in the Knesset," Gabbay concluded.
