Source in the Syrian army: Israel did not attack

The official Syrian news agency SANA quoted a military source early Sunday who denied the allegations of an Israeli attack at the Mezzeh Military Airport in Damascus.

According to the source, the explosion was heard in the Syrian capital following an electrical problem that caused the explosion of a weapons depot near the airport.

Earlier, the Syrian Human Rights Center reported that Israel was behind the attack.
