Hamas, Egypt, ensure toned down protests Friday
Some 8,000 Gazans came out for the weekly Friday border protests against Israel. The IDF reported that the demonstrators maintained a safe distance from the fence, while burning tires and throwing stones.
One of the organizers behind the protests (“March of Return”), Issam Hamad explained that the Egyptian intelligence delegation requested that they stay back from the fence so as not to endanger the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
