IDF and Lebanese soldiers
In a relatively rare moment, IDF soldiers met with Lebanese troops on the northern border on Monday to discuss where to place a barbed-wire fence, which was put up as part of Operation Northern Shield, Israel's search for Hezbollah border-crossing terror tunnels.
The Israeli and Lebanese forces were joined by peacekeepers from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at the Rakefet enclave, in the southern part of the Galilee Panhandle.

A video posted online by Ali Shuaib, a journalist from Hezbollah's Al-Manar TV station, one of the Lebanese soldiers is seen asking to move the 200-meters-long barbed-wire fence back from the UN-demarcated Blue Line.
According to Shuaib, the request was granted and the fence was moved to the Israeli side of the Blue Line.
Lebanon's National News Agency reported three IDF excavators crossed the electronic fence and started digging works, but did not cross the Blue Line.
Hezbollah media has been extensively reporting on Israeli activity in southern Lebanon in an effort to ridicule the IDF and stress that the daily routine is maintained.
Earlier Monday, the Al Mayadeen TV channel reported that the Lebanese army has raised the level of alert in the Rakefet enclave because of the barbed-wire fence.
According to the IDF, such encounters between Israeli and Lebanese soldiers happen almost every day as part of the Operation.
