Former defense minister Avigdor Lieberman was verbally attacked Wednesday night by ultra-Orthodox activists outside the home of Sgt.Yoseph Cohen —thesoldier who was killed last week in a shooting attack in the West Bank .

Protesting Lieberman's support of the IDF draft bill ,the activists, who were waiting outside the Cohen family home in Jerusalem, called the former defense minister a "murderer" and compared him to the terrorists behind the attack that claimed the young sergeant's life.

'Recruiting religious youth is worse than murder," one of the activists shouted, in reference to a famous saying by Chazal (Jewish sages of the Mishna, Tosefta and Talmud eras): "whoever causes a person to sin is worse than the one who kills him."

Several local residents, including Cohen's relatives and neighbors, witnessed the attack and tried to calm the protestors.
However, within a few seconds, more activists gathered outside Cohen's home. The activists kept shouting at Lieberman while passersby retorted by calling them "disgusting."
