Jordan’s King Abdullah and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said Sunday during their meeting in Amman that the renewal of negotiations talks between Israel and the Palestinians is of the utmost importance.
"Negotiations should be based on the two-state solution and the Arab peace initiative, aiming to reach a fair solution, which honors the Palestinians' legal right to establish a state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital," the two leaders said in a statement.
In addition, Abdullah and Sisi discussed efforts to end regional crises in Syria, Yemen and Libya.
