In first, US THAAD missile defense system deployed in Israel

The US Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system has been deployed over the past few days in Israel for the first time.

As part of a joint drill in which more than 200 Israeli and American troops took part, the system has been deployed in the Nevatim Airbase in the south.
