IDF troops exchange fire with PA forces in Nablus

IDF troops in persuit of suspects in the West Bank city of Nablus overnight Monday, engaged in fire with Palestinian Authority forces near the PA headquarters in Nablus.

At least one member of the Palestinian forces was reported to have suffered slight injuries. The IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced there were no injuries to its forces.

The incident was described as a case of mistaken identity when IDF troops attempted to detain suspects that were later identified as members of the Palestinian security forces.
