The pop-diva, who voices the character of Nala, has finally released a video for the only new song to appear in the legendary musical, the notable aspect of which is the gorgeous tulle gown designed by Tel Aviv-based designer Shahar Avnet exclusively for the singer.
“Thrilled to see the queen Beyonce in my design once again in her new “Spirit” music video for the Lion King,” said Avnet on her Instagram page. “You are my biggest inspiration. It is always an honor to be designing for you.”
This is not the first time Beyonce has appeared in outfits designed by the 30-year-old Israeli, who had set up her own brand just two years ago. Queen Bey donned Avnet’s dresses multiple times on stage during her last year’s world tour.
Beyonce isn’t the only pop star with an affinity for Avnet’s unusual designs. Netta Barzilai wore a multi colored kimono designed by the Shenkar College graduate during her winning performance of the song “Toy” at 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.
In addition, the star of a Marvel blockbuster Spider Man: Homecoming, Zendaya, wore the designer’s gown during a photoshoot for W Magazine back 2017.
