U.S. Attorney General William Barr says there were "serious irregularities" at the federal prison in New York City where Jeffrey Epstein died in an apparent suicide, adding that the investigation into the disgraced money manager's sex crimes would continue.
"Any co-conspirators should not rest easy," Barr, the top U.S. law enforcement official, said during a speech at an event in New Orleans on Monday.
Barr announced on Saturday that he had asked the Justice Department's inspector general to investigate Epstein's death.
