Pilot of Israeli plane fired on by IDF: We were meter and a half from disaster

The pilot of an Israeli light aircraft that came under IDF fire after troops on the Golan feared an infiltration from Syria says they were "a meter and a half from disaster."

The pilot declined to give more details about the incident, which is currently being investigated.

The IDF said called it "a serious incident that is under investigation and from which lessons will be learned."
