Liberman: 'only option - wide liberal unity government'

Yisrael Beytenu Chairman Avigdor Liberman said Wednesday morning that the only option he considers is a national unity government comprised of Likud, Blue and White and his own party.

"The only viable option is establishing a national unity government, a wide liberal government," said Liberman.

The Moldovan-born politician also said he will consider joining a coalition featuring the ultra-Orthodox parties in case they will be willing to make concessions and accept secular legislations, such as making basic curriculum mandatory in religious schools, passing a new draft bill for yeshiva students and allowing businesses to open on Shabbat.
