IDF: 'We have the initiative, we attack advanced Syrian anti-aircraft'
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit commented Wednesday on its nocturnal assault on dozens of Iranian and Syrian military targets in Syria.
"We've got the initiative. As an army, we will not allow Iran to base itself in Syria," said an IDF spokesperson. "We have attacked dozens of targets within mere minutes, mostly south-west to Damascus. We have attacked military targets belonging to the Syrian army, hosting Iranian arms and forces, such as state-of-the-art anti-aircraft systems that have been in use for the past decade, Syrian army headquarters and weapon depots. We are ready to respond harshly to any further attacks".
