Canada's Trudeau condemns anti-Semitic attack on IDF soldiers
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Saturday strongly condemned violence and anti-Semitic chants directed against a delegation of IDF fighters, who came to appear before students at York University in Toronto.
"On Wednesday night, violence & racist chants broke out against an event organized by the Jewish community at York University," wrote Trudeau in a Twitter post. "What happened that night was shocking and absolutely unacceptable. Anti-Semitism has no place in Canada. We will always denounce it & all forms of hatred."
