Israel's State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman revealed on Tuesday that his office was investigating whether the Prime Minister's Office and IDF drones, were hacked by cybercriminals. The probe was part of a review of Israel's response to cyber threats leading into and since the war in Gaza.
Speaking at a conference at Tel Aviv University, Englman said his office was reviewing Israel's cyber defenses and the steps that were taken by regulators to prevent attacks and bolster protections. The review also examined how prepared critical systems were to defend against cyberattacks and how breaches were dealt with when they occurred.
