The Xpeng G6 SUV from the Chinese manufacturer is expected to arrive in Israel showrooms soon, according to information from documents submitted by the importer, Frisbee (formerly Carasso), to the Transportation Ministry.
According to the documents, the G6 will be available in Israel in two versions: one with a rear motor producing 258 horsepower and the other with dual motors (the rear producing 286 horsepower and the front producing 190 horsepower).

Manufacturer data indicates that the G6 is 4.753 meters long, two millimeters longer than its main competitor, Tesla's Model Y. The vehicle supports fast charging (DC) up to 280 kilowatts, and the base version has a range of 435 to 570 kilometers, depending on the type of battery, which has not yet been specified in the importer's records.
According to the Transportation Ministry's records, the base version's price is approximately 240,000 shekels ($64,800), though this price is not final and does not yet include details about the battery type. For comparison, the starting price of a basic Tesla Model Y is around 236,000 shekels ($63,720). Tesla is also expected to launch a base version of the Model Y in Israel with a higher-capacity battery.
The Xpeng G6 will compete directly with the Tesla Model Y, Tesla's best-selling model in Israel. So far, Xpeng's importer has followed a pricing strategy that positions the manufacturer's models at a lower price than comparable mainstream Tesla models (for example, the Xpeng P7 costs less than the comparable Tesla Model 3).
However, Xpeng has already gained a significant market share in Israel, with 1,018 deliveries from the beginning of the year through the end of May. This might allow Xpeng to price the G6 competitively without needing to undercut the Model Y's price.
