Plans to open Israeli branches of Dutch food retail chain SPAR hit a snag, Ynet learned on Sunday, after local franchise holder Israeli businessman Amit Zeev, and Yitzchak Mirilashvili, who purchased 19% of the business, decided to part ways and dissolve their partnership.
SPAR's local branches were originally to be opened in partnership with Shufersal, Israel's largest supermarket chain, but that agreement ended last year.

Zeev said he is looking for new investors to replace Miriashvilli, despite the setback in his plans to open 35 stores around the country.
