Hackers post personal information of Israeli athletes in Paris games

Information includes personal photos, information from military service, online passwords; "Israeli military sent soldiers to Paris' hackers say, inciting violence 

The personal information of athletes who are members of Israel's delegation to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, has been posted online after it was stolen by hackers.
The Zeus hacking group published a database of people and organizations linked to the Israeli delegation including photos of IDs, plane tickets, documents, and personal photographs from the athlete's military service. Also included were military I.D. numbers, user names and passwords to online accounts, locations and addresses.

They said the members of Israel's delegation were tied to the fighting in Gaza, which some experts warn is an attempt to incite violence against them and to delegitimize their participation in the international sporting event.
"The Israeli military sent representatives to the Olympic Games," A telegram channel containing the hacked material, wrote. "We are revealing what the Israeli soldiers are doing at the Olympics."
The hacking effort appears to have been complex and included accumulating information from multiple sources. The personal phones and computers of the delegation members were also likely hacked

Experts said the hack was likely carried out by an Iranian group to be used for propaganda and intimidation. Israel's cyber directory said it was monitoring the situation.
