With Imagine Dragons vocalist Dan Reynolds and actress Minka Kelly seen very chummy together on more than one occasion, Hollywood tabloids seem to have a new intriguing power couple to fill column inches about.
Imagine Dragons announced last week it will arrive in the Holy Land for a single show in August next year. The rock band was formed 10 years ago and are well known for smash hits like "Radioactive" and "Believer."
Spotted arriving together at a trendy Italian restaurant in Los Angeles last weekend, the next morning, they were spotted going for a walk, with Reynolds, 35, clutching the hand of Kelly, 42, close to his chest.
And the paparazzi? The couple didn't pay them much attention and seemingly had no problems with everyone knowing about their evolving relationship. A close friend of Kelly's said: "She may have found the one. Dan is exactly her type. He's dependable, sensitive and a great father."
Another friend, however, was more reserved: "It's too early to tell where this is going."
Minka began her Hollywood career almost 20 years ago, featuring in TV shows like NBC drama Friday Night Lights and superhero series Titans. She also ventured into the world of video games, playing a motion capture role of a robot discovering her humanity in the game Detroit: Become Human.
Their relationship is particularly interesting to watch as they are both appear to be on the rebound. Reynolds recently divorced indie rock star Aja Volkman, with whom he fathered four children.
The couple has had a tumultuous relationship, having broken up and getting back together on more than one occasion. With their most recent split, we can only hope that Kelly won't turn out to be another rebound.
Kelly, on the other hand, has never been married before, but her dating resume is impressive, to say the least. She dated Captain America actor Chris Evans twice, and even though they were recently spotted walking their dogs together, friends claim they're just buddies now.
Her other previous partners include singer John Mayer, former baseball star Derek Jeter and actor Jesse Williams who co-starred with her in Detroit: Become Human. Their relationship was accompanied by vicious rumors that she "stole" him from his wife, an accusation she flatly denied.
Most recently, she dated The Tonight Show host Trevor Noah, who coincidentally is leaving the show after seven years. With Noah purchasing a swanky Bel-Air mansion for them to live in, everybody thought they were about to tie the knot. They split last May.
It's worth noting that Kelly is usually not too excited about being seen in public with the men she's dating, but she was already spotted with Reynolds twice in one weekend. A good omen?
