New images of suspects in attack on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans published in the Netherlands

Police released on Dutch television footage and videos of 12 suspects allegedly involved in the violent incidents following Maccabi Tel Aviv’s match against Ajax in Amsterdam; The suspects were urged to surrender to authorities   

A month has passed since Maccabi Tel Aviv fans were attacked on the streets of Amsterdam following the team’s Europa League loss to Ajax, and Dutch police have yet to conclude their investigation.
On Tuesday night, Amsterdam police released images of suspects believed to be involved in the attacks on the Israeli fans. The photos, which appeared on a Dutch TV program, show 11 men and one woman. The suspects were urged to turn themselves in.

Footage reveals one suspect grabbing a Maccabi Tel Aviv fan by the throat, while others are seen kicking fans. The images were blurred, and police stated that these individuals were involved in several incidents across the city that night. Authorities have warned the suspects to report to the nearest police station, adding that additional photos will soon be released.
The attacks took place following Maccabi Tel Aviv’s 5–0 defeat at the Johan Cruyff Arena, leaving dozens of fans injured.
One 30-year-old victim recounted: “I had just finished four months of reserve duty in Gaza, and what I experienced here was no less terrifying. They ambushed us, ran me over, and pulled a knife on me. I saw kids getting hit right in front of me. We just wanted to get back home.”

Another fan described: “They were waiting for us at every corner, lurking on motorbikes and in cars. They’d ask where we were from and, if you didn’t answer, they’d attack. Some of the police even hit us with batons.”
