Many things can be said about the late Queen Elizabeth II — from her developed sense of humor to her chocolate obsession — but now American rapper Snoop Dogg added another new fact about the British royal claiming she was also a big fan of his. "That was my girl," the rapper said as a guest on Jordan North's British radio show.
Snoop Dogg is a big fan of the Olympic Games and even traveled to Paris to watch them from the front rows. He provided wonderful escapism to the many photographers documenting the crowd with a variety of shocked, satisfied, and amused expressions.

He also recently made a short visit to the UK, and when the host asked him about his plans for the coming days, the rapper replied, "I’ll go by the palace, see if they let me in."
Snoop Dogg isn’t relying on the palace guards’ kindness but hopes that the royal admiration will help him. "I’ve heard the future king, William, is a huge Snoop fan," said North, to which the rapper surprisingly replied, "Well, the Queen was a fan too. Rest in peace to the Queen, that was my girl. You know what I’m saying? So, just may want to go up and, you know, see what you do."
This isn’t the first time Snoop Dogg talked about his special connection with the late Elizabeth. He previously mentioned the queen came to his aid when he was banned from entering the UK in 1994 because he was charged with first- and second-degree murder, and the country wanted to prevent him from visiting and performing in the country.

"When they tried to kick me out of England, the Queen made a comment that her grandbabies loved Snoop Doggy Dogg, and he had done no wrong in the UK, so she gave me permission to be here,” the rapper told the Guardian.
The rapper said he fondly remembered Queen Elizabeth after the incident. To repay her kindness, he wrote a song for Prince William’s bachelor party — Wet. "I knew I had to give them a little something. ‘Wet’ is the perfect anthem for Prince William or any playa to get the club smoking.”
