Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is known for many things—most of them not particularly flattering. However, one thing we never thought we’d write about him is that he’s the star of the evening, given his normally jejune nature.
This past weekend, Zuckerberg’s wife, Priscilla Chan, celebrated her 40th birthday with a glamorous event that included five outfit changes. Despite all the effort, Chan wasn’t the only one who stood out with her attire. The highlight of the evening came when her husband took the stage, ripped off his tuxedo and donned a tight light blue suit reminiscent of singer Benson Boone—stunning everyone with an extraordinary performance.

What an outfit!
“Celebrating the most important person in my life. You are a great partner, mother, and friend, and I'm grateful to share this life with you,” Zuckerberg wrote alongside the video he posted, which garnered over 1.5 million likes and almost half a million comments.
Of course, the cameras immediately turned to capture Chan’s reaction. She howled in surprise and excitement, clearly amused by her husband’s performance.

Personally, we were happy to see Zuckerberg let loose and have fun for a change, but it seems his followers weren’t as thrilled with the idea. “This is your wife’s celebration, and you turned it into your own event,” one commenter scolded him. Another agreed: “Why did he make himself the star of the evening on his wife’s birthday? Be a gentleman, Mark. Did she even want all of this?”

Many comments speculated whether this was a sign of a “midlife crisis” on Zuckerberg’s part, while others accused him of deleting any negative comments and leaving only the compliments.
Fortunately for Zuckerberg, some people were impressed by his performance. “Mark’s new post is so human,” wrote one enthusiastic follower. Another added: “This is amazing, I love it.”
