After two successful seasons filmed at Four Seasons resorts in Hawaii and Sicily, the third season of HBO’s hit series "The White Lotus" premiered last week. This time, the story will take place in Thailand — at the Four Seasons resort on the island of Koh Samui. The Israeli tourism company Spirit World Productions announced last week the launch of a unique vacation package to the hotel, which is expected to become one of the most talked-about destinations in the world in the near future.
The announcement published by Spirit stated: "The vacation includes accommodation in luxurious suites at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, located amid breathtaking tropical scenery; guided tours of the key sites featured in the series; gourmet meals and spa treatments inspired by the series’ locations, as well as immersive activities in an authentic Thai atmosphere."
How will your wallet be impacted?
The cost of the package, set for March, which includes flights to Koh Samui via Bangkok, private transfers, and seven nights in a Serenity Pool Villa with breakfast, starts at $10,200 per person in a double room.
We checked how much it would cost to book an identical package independently and found that this method ends up being more expensive. Additionally, it is difficult to find available rooms due to the high demand.

How expensive? Booking just the accommodation for seven nights independently costs $13,111 per person in a double room. A direct flight with El Al to Thailand’s capital city costs at least $1,766 (Classic ticket with luggage and seat selection), according to our research. To try to reduce costs, we found a connecting flight with the Italian airline ITA for $1,328, including luggage. On top of this, you would still need to add internal flights in Thailand, breakfasts, the unique tours included in the package, and transfers. In short, Spirit’s package is cheaper than booking all the components separately.
Luxury in the heart of nature
The rooms at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, of course, offer varying levels of luxury with price tags that climb accordingly. For example, a night in an Island Ocean Pool Villa costs $2,474 per person in a double room, not including breakfast. A night in an Oceanfront Pool Villa starts at $3,213. And how could we not mention the Presidential Villa with three bedrooms—the Three-Bedroom Family Residence Villa with Pool—which costs $10,996 per night.
The Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is nestled between palm-covered hills and overlooks the clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand. In addition to its luxurious rooms, the hotel offers a wide range of services and activities, including a private beach perfect for relaxation and water sports, an infinity pool, a hidden spa set amidst tropical greenery, a selection of restaurants featuring various cuisines, a bar boasting the largest rum collection in Thailand with over 100 bottles, and private yachts for enjoyable cruises in the area.
