Ian Ziering, known to many from his starring role as Steve Sanders on the successful television show "Beverly Hills, 90210," was in Israel to attend the launch of Hot cable's "GoalStar Greece."

He is the first Hollywood star to be part of the GoalStar team and it is his first appearance in the show outside the U.S.
"I'd be happy to tell you about the people but I don't speak Hebrew and being with these guys is frustrating, but it was also very warming because the spirit, the comradery, the humor - it all came through, regardless of the fact that I didn't understand what they were saying," he said.
"We shot this show before the war and it was also part of the plan to come and support it," Ziering said. "To be here in Israel at this time is an opportunity for me not just to support the show but to support Israel. I'm Jewish American and these are my people. We are all in this together."
This is Ziering's third time in Israel, although it is different now. He has already visited Jerusalem, went to the Western Wall and even spent time with wounded soldiers.
